An N. Boudewyns MD, PhD

Boudewyns working as a pediatric ENT surgeon at the Antwerp University Hospital Belgium, a top-quality tertiary care referral center. Many of the infants and kids that visit her have underlying medical conditions or special needs requiring an individualized diagnostic and treatment approach. A major goal of her work at UZA is to provide high-quality and evidence-based care for these children such as those with congenital hearing loss, obstructive sleep apnea, craniofacial malformations, airway anomalies, and syndromic conditions for example Down syndrome.

In order to achieve this goal, she builds a close collaboration and network with colleagues from other disciplines such as pediatrics, neonatology, medical genetics, anesthesiology, and maxillofacial surgery.

Through various research projects, she is currently improving our scientific knowledge and share our experience with colleagues from all over the world.
