Amy Jordan Wisdom is a physician-scientist at Harvard Medical School, Brigham and Women's Hospital, and Massachusetts General Hospital, currently completing her Radiation Oncology residency training. As a B. Leonard Holman Research Scholar, she is also conducting postdoctoral research under the mentorship of Dr. Stefani Spranger and Dr. Tyler Jacks at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Her ultimate goal is to develop innovative and effective novel treatments for patients with malignant brain tumors.

She subsequently joined Duke University's Medical Scientist Training Program (MSTP) to pursue MD and PhD degrees. For her PhD, she trained in the laboratory of David Kirsch, MD, PhD, now Shelagh Godsoe Chair of Radiation Medicine at Princess Margaret Cancer Center. Her research utilized genetically engineered mouse models, single-cell RNA sequencing, and genomic profiling to uncover novel immunologic mechanisms of therapeutic resistance in tumors, including a pathway of neutrophil-mediated radiation resistance in Kras mutant tumors. This work was supported by the F30 Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Award from the National Cancer Institute.
