Amy Valent DO

Amy Miyoshi Valent specializes in caring for women with endocrine and metabolic disorders such as diabetes, thyroid, and polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). Her research will be focused on further understanding how these conditions influence pregnancy to help patients improve the health of their pregnancies to obtain the best results. She loves to educate women about their health, especially prior to pregnancy, to empower them with knowledge and confidence and to optimize pregnancy outcomes.

Dr. Valent loves to eat anything and everything. It is her favorite hobby, and Portland is perfect as it has so many delicious options. If she is not working, researching, or eating, then you will find her outside hiking, kayaking, or running; loving the life outdoors, especially with great friends and family.
