Dr. Amy Duffield is an assistant professor of pathology at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and a member of the Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center. Her areas of clinical expertise include pathology and hematopathology, with a particular focus on diagnosing hematopoietic neoplasms.

Dr. Duffield earned her M.D. and Ph.D. from the Yale University School of Medicine. She completed her residency at The Johns Hopkins Hospital and performed a fellowship in pathology at the Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Dr. Duffield's research interests include the study of novel protein-protein interactions. She is currently identifying and investigating the functional significance of proteins that interact with receptor tyrosine kinase FMS-Like Tyrosine kinase 3 (FLT3) in hematopoietic and leukemic cells.
