Amy R. Schwartz, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Medicine (General Medicine) at the Yale School of Medicine, where she is part of the General Internal Medicine faculty. She is a clinician-researcher whose work spans primary care delivery, health services research, and patient-centered clinical practice.
Schwartz earned her Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Stanford University School of Medicine and completed both her internship and residency in internal medicine at Yale-New Haven Hospital. She also completed a Medical Education Fellowship at Yale University School of Medicine, reflecting her commitment to excellence in medical training and education. Schwartz received her undergraduate degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
