Amy Schindler Bortzfield MD

Amy Schindler Bortzfield, M.D., is an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Division of Gastroenterology at the Long School of Medicine at UT Health San Antonio. Dr. Bortzfield has a particular interest in quality in colorectal cancer screening, taking care of general gastrointestinal and hepatology patients, and performing device-assisted enteroscopy to investigate obscure GI bleeding and other small bowel diseases. She works at the Audie L. Murphy VA Hospital providing clinical care and teaching.
