Dr. Amy has been with UHS for 30 years where she started her career as a Physician Practice RN. She served as an office Supervisor, both in the primary care setting as well as specialty practices. She has been in her current role as a Clinical Coordinator for Practice Improvement and Education since November 2012.

Her focus is on collection and communication of PI data for the Physician Practices and works extensively on patient safety and quality initiatives.

Dr. Amy worked on the original STEADI pilot in the UHS End well Primary Care office. Her main focus was to develop and implement the process to the remaining 17 Primary Care Practices in the UHS System. She works closely with Dr Frank Floyd, the CDC STEADI Champion, Broome County and New York State DOH, as well as the CDC in collecting, and reporting of STEADI Data.
