Amy Nacht RN, MSN, DNP, MPH, CNM

Amy Nacht started working with the University of Colorado College of Nursing Faculty practice in 2008 and has been the Director of the Practice since 2010 and the Director of the Midwifery Fellowship since 2016. She completed her midwifery training at Case Western Reserve University and Frontier Nursing University, her MPH at the University of Colorado School of Public Health and her DNP at the University of Colorado College of Nursing.

Prior to joining the University Nurse Midwives, Amy worked in rural Colorado for six years. Her professional interests include global health, quality and safety projects, perinatal mood disorders, inter-professional education, curriculum development, and medical education. She lectures for the College of Nursing, the School of Medicine and the School of Public Health. She is actively involved with the University of Colorado Center for Global Health Guatemalan birth center and maternal health programs as the lead midwife. ​
