Amy Lee Smith COC, CPC, CPMA

Ms. Smith is a Senior Manager of Internal Audit with Bon Secours Health System, Inc. She brings expertise in Chargemaster, Charge Capture, Revenue Integrity, and Coding/Billing, and was a leader for internal audit activities around the EPIC electronic medical record system-wide Revenue Cycle implementation. She is an active member of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), the Association of Healthcare Internal Auditors (AHIA), the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) and the American Association of Professional Coders (AAPC).
Amy earned her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from The College of William and Mary in Virginia. Amy is a Certified Internal Auditor, Certified in Risk Management Assurance, Certified Healthcare Finance Professional (CHFP), and holds the CPC, COC, and CPMA coding designations.
