Amy Lee, M.D., is a neurosurgeon at Seattle Children's Hospital and a UW associate professor of Neurological Surgery. Dr. Lee believes in creating active partnerships with her patients to achieve the best possible outcomes.
Dr. Lee earned her M.D. from the University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio. She went on to complete a seven-year neurological surgery residency at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri, and Barnes-Jewish Hospital. She then went on to complete her pediatric neurosurgery fellowship at St. Louis Children's Hospital.
Dr. Lee’s clinical interests include craniofacial anomalies, spinal dysraphism, hydrocephalus, and brain tumors. Her research interests include magnetic resonance imaging techniques, diffusion tensor imaging in traumatic brain injury and spinal cord injury.
