Amy Gomes (Craike) qualified as a Paramedic in 2010 and has since worked around the state with the Queensland Ambulance Service. She currently works on the road as a Critical Care Paramedic after completing her Masters and clinical internship. Amy has a strong interest in education, mentoring students, and Palliative Care. She is currently on the QAS Legacy Advisory Board and volunteers for multiple charities. Every year, Amy takes students overseas on a Professional Development Tour to South Africa. She is passionate about increasing Paramedic knowledge and skills in pediatric care; an area she feels that a lot of Paramedics see as daunting and complicated.
