Amy E. Clarke RN IgCN

Amy Clarke, RN IgCN, is a registered nurse and has been in the home infusion space since 1994. As a Director of Nursing for the Chicago location of Option Care’s Home Infusion Pharmacy, she provided clinical education on infusion therapy and specialty medications to nursing staff (internal and external), pharmacists, physicians, and social workers. Amy has a particular passion for immune globulin therapy having done over 2000 intravenous and subcutaneous infusions to date. Working with home infusion pharmacy in the 1990s it became quickly evident that IVIG was often not well understood by nursing staff, pharmacies, payers, and in many instances the physicians themselves. She has presented to the National Home Infusion Association (NHIA) and the Immunoglobulin Nursing Society (INS), among others. She is the president emeritus of the Immunoglobulin National Society (2016-2018 term), IgNS Educational Development Committee Co-Chair, and Director of Nursing Clinical Program Services for Diplomat Specialty Infusion.
