Dr. Locke received her medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School where she also completed a residency in Family Medicine. She has been on the faculty at the UM since 2002 and practiced at the Integrative Medicine Wellness Clinic from 2007-2015. She served as Director of Integrative Medicine in the Department of Family Medicine and Integrative Medicine Fellowship Director from 2012 - 2015. Her educational efforts have spanned elementary school classrooms, undergraduates, health professional students, residents and practicing health professionals.

Dr. Locke's experiences are focused on holistic medicine, preventive medicine and nutrition, with a goal of bringing the best of conventional and alternative medicine together to prevent and treat illness. Her clinical interests include nutrition, preventive health, care of adolescents and working with kids, families and individuals of all ages.

Since leaving clinical practice at the University of Michigan in 2015, she continues on as adjunct faculty. In that role, she participates as teaching faculty in the fellowship and continues to represent U-M nationally at the Academic Consortium of Integrative Medicine and Health. She is active in the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine and the American Academy of Family Physicians. Her goal is to increase education around Integrative Medicine and wellness topics both locally and nationally to make these methods of maintaining wellness available broadly within health systems and conventional medicine.

Upon leaving Ann Arbor, she will continue seeing patients, teaching and developing programs at the University of Utah.
