Amy Arrow Articolo DO, FACOOG, Dipl ABOM

Dr. Amy Articolo, a weight loss physician and co-founder of Salveo Weight Management in Voorhees Township, New Jersey, earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 1993 where she was awarded cum laude honors upon graduation. She went on to earn her Doctorate of Osteopathy degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1998. She then completed her internship and residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in obstetrics and gynecology from 1998-2003, where she was elected chief intern and chief resident during her term. She was awarded the Ralph J. Onofrio Surgical Award upon graduation.

She entered private practice in obstetrics and gynecology, where she worked closely with Dr. Mackey at Garden State OB/GYN Associates until she pursued her career at Salveo Weight Management. Dr. Articolo was, and is, inspired by her patients. She wanted to pursue additional training and education in the field of obesity medicine to better guide and treat her patients who have struggled with their weight. From there, a new journey began, leading her down the path toward board certification in obesity medicine. Together with Dr. Mackey, the dream of an office dedicated to treating patients struggling with weight became a reality.

Dr. Articolo is a proud member of the American Society of Bariatric Physicians and a board member of Obesity Treatment Foundation, where she serves as the secretary/treasurer. She is also a speaker for the Obesity Speaker Bureau through which she helps educate other health care providers about the complexities of obesity and its health risks for patients.
