Amrinder Singh is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Sports Medicine and Physiotherapy at the Guru Nanak Dev University. He completed his Ph.D. in Sports Medicine in 2015 and my Masters in Sports Physiotherapy from the Department of Sports Medicine and Physiotherapy, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, Punjab in 2010, and did his Bachelor's degree from Khalsa College Amritsar in 2007. He also has a Certification from FIFA Diploma in Football Medicine. His research interests include Sports Rehabilitation and the Application of Physical Activity to Lifestyle Disorders. Projects undertaken by me include the UGC Minor Project(2013) entitled “Evaluation of the Prevalence of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension, and Metabolic Syndrome and awareness of its Risk Factors in the Urban Punjabi Sikh population” & University with Potential for Excellence(2012)scheme project under the holistic area Health Care, Drug Development, and Sports Medicine. His future research interests include human performance analysis and its application in injury prevention. His academic experience includes serving as an assistant professor since 2010 which includes taking master's and bachelor's course classes and guiding them in their practice and project work. To date, His have guided 40 Master's Students & 2 Ph.D. scholars. He has been an examiner in 7 Indian Universities. He has had opportunities of being on selection committees, academic bodies, coordinator for nodal centers, examination observer, and also designing of undergraduate and postgraduate course curriculums.
