Amol Sura MD

Dr. Amol Ashwin Sura specializes in the medical and surgical care of patients with complex inflammatory, autoimmune, and infectious diseases of the eyes, including inflammation inside of the eyes (uveitis) and on the surface of the eyes. He is experienced in using new immunosuppressive medications, biologic agents, injectable therapies, and in-office technologies for uveitis and ocular surface disease.

He also performs routine and complex cataract surgery. He believes in an individualized approach to treating disease. This involves a complete review of one’s health, close monitoring, and collaboration with other specialists, such as rheumatologists, infectious disease specialists, pediatricians, and internal medicine doctors. His clinical interests include uveitis, iridocyclitis, scleritis, pediatric uveitis, juvenile idiopathic arthritis, ocular cicatricial pemphigoid, bacterial and viral infections of the eye, ocular rosacea, and severe dry eye.
