Amol Bapaye is an advanced endoscopic surgical procedure like ESD, POEM, STER, and EFTR. He heads the Shivanand Desai Centre for Digestive Disorders, Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital & Research Centre, Pune, India. His goal is to advance the specialty of Interventional endoscopy & endoscopic surgery by conducting clinical and laboratory research and introducing new technology and newer modalities of endoscopic treatment. His goal is also to impart training in advanced endoscopic procedures to trainees in order to improve GI healthcare.
