Amjad T. Almahameed MD, MPH, RPVI, FACP

Dr. AlMahameed is an interventional cardiologist and endovascular specialist who also serves as the director of the vascular disease management initiative, peripheral interventions, vascular medicine, and vascular laboratory. Employed by Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians and practices primarily at BIDMC, a major teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School in Boston, MA.

As an interventional cardiologist and endovascular specialist with extensive expertise in cardiac and vascular disorders, Dr. AlMahameed performs cardiac and vascular interventions. He has a very busy practice, serves as a consultant for complex cases, and trains several fellows each year.

Dr. AlMahameed is also an expert in vascular laboratory practices.
