Amit Asopa MD, FRCA

Amit Asopa, MD, is a Staff Physician in the Anesthesiology Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. He specializes in interventional pain management, complex regional pain syndrome, neuropathic pain, spinal cord stimulation, minimally invasive treatments for chronic back and neck pain, musculoskeletal pain, acute post-operative pain and ultrasound for regional anesthesia.

Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Asopa worked as Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology and Pain Management at the University Of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky, US. He has also worked in various capacities at institutions in the UK and India.

Dr. Asopa received his medical degree from B.J. Medical College in Ahmedabad, India. He completed his residency in Anesthesiology at the Civil Hospital in Ahmedabad, India, and at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts, US. He completed his fellowships in Anesthesiology and Interventional Pain Management at Harvard Medical School-affiliated hospitals in Boston, Massachusetts, US.????????
