Dr. Amir Kazory, M.D., FASN, FAHA, FACC, is a distinguished Professor of Medicine and Chief of the Division of Nephrology, Hypertension, and Renal Transplantation at the University of Florida. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Nephrology, and Clinical Hypertension, and has dedicated his career to advancing the understanding and treatment of complex kidney-related conditions.
Dr. Kazory’s primary clinical and research interests focus on the nephrologic aspects of heart failure and cardiorenal syndrome, fluid management in critically ill patients, disorders of water homeostasis, and the interactions between the heart and kidneys in various disease states. He has an extensive portfolio of peer-reviewed publications, has presented widely at national and international conferences, and contributes to educational initiatives training the next generation of nephrologists.
In addition to his academic and clinical roles, Dr. Kazory also serves as a medical advisor in industry settings, further bridging clinical expertise with innovation in therapies for complex renal and cardiovascular disorders.
