Amir Kazory MD, FASN

Dr. Kazory is an Associate Professor of Medicine and the Director of Education in the Division of Nephrology, Hypertension, and Renal Transplantation at the University of Florida. His main research interests are the nephrologic aspects of heart failure, disorders of water homeostasis, cardiorenal syndrome, and the interactions between kidney and heart in various pathologic settings.

Dr. Kazory has been actively involved in clinical research projects including those related to extracorporeal therapies that are offered to patients with cardiorenal syndrome. He has had several presentations in national and international conferences in US, Canada, and Europe on these topics.
