Amina Kurtovic-kozaric PhD

Prof. Dr. Amina Kurtovic-Kozaric, full Professor of Genetics and Clinical Biology at the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo, International Burch University, and Faculty of Natural Sciences, University of Sarajevo. She established prenatal/postnatal cytogenetics and molecular genetics/genomics diagnostics laboratory at the Department of Pathology, Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo in 2007. In 2012, as a Fulbright Scholar at the Cleveland Clinic, the Department of Translational Hematology and Oncology Research developed skills in translational hematology research including whole exam sequencing and RNAseq analysis. Currently the Head of the Human Genetics Laboratory that conducts genetics and genomics diagnostic testing including cytogenetics, FISH, PCR, and NGS for hemato-oncology, pediatrics, and gynecology.
