Amin Shabbir Azam CRNA

Amin Azam was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. Prior to obtaining anesthesia training, I worked as a Registered Nurse for six years, primarily in the Neuroscience and Trauma Intensive Care Unit. I became a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist so that I could obtain a deeper level of understanding of pharmacology and human physiology, and to broaden my scope of practice as a clinician.

Amin Azam joined the anesthesia team at Kaiser Permanente due to its reputation of providing excellent care and resources to its patients. I enjoy establishing a relationship with my patients, ensuring that all of their questions and concerns are addressed, and providing them with the highest level of care possible. I take great pride in my role as an anesthesia provider. The field of anesthesiology allows me to utilize my intellectual, physical, and spiritual capacities to help others get better.
