Amin Bemanian, MD, PhD, is a pediatric resident physician. Dr. Bemanian believes in a multifactorial approach to patient care. He believes it is important to understand the social, cultural, and educational context of every child and how that affects their development and patient care. Dr. Bemanian's clinical interests include general pediatrics, both in the acute and outpatient settings. His research focuses on the role social determinants play in the epidemiology of infectious diseases. Dr. Bemanian received his medical and doctoral degrees from the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, WI. His graduate research focused on the role of racial segregation in cancer disparities, and he was awarded a Ruth L. Kirschstein F30 fellowship from the NIH to support his research.
