Dr. Amie Kawasaki is a Female Pelvic Medicine & Recontructive Surgery board-certified Urogynecologist with an active clinical career that involves the diagnosis and treatment of a variety of conditions such as prolapse, urinary incontinence, urinary retention/voiding dysfunction, fecal incontinence, pelvic floor dysfunction and recurrent urinary tract infections.
Being fellowship trained, she offers a wide range of evidence-based treatment options. Dr. Kawasaki is comfortable with the medical management of overactive bladder, as well as with advanced treatment of the condition – performing posterior tibial nerve stimulation, intravesical botulinum injections, and sacral neurmodulation. She is experienced with the counseling and fitting of patients desiring non-surgical pessaries for prolapse as well as the surgical treatment of prolapse via vaginal native tissue surgery, graft-augmented procedures, and minimally-invasive laparascopic and robotic techniques. Her clinical practice is comprehensive and includes the use of pelvic floor physical therapy to improve patient care.
