Ami Glicksman MD

Dr. Glicksman graduated medical school at the Ben-Gurion University, Beer-Sheva Israel and his residency in plastic surgery and is an Israeli Board certified plastic surgeon. Following the residency in Israel Dr. Glicksman spent two years as a micro-vascular clinical and research fellow at Montefiore Hospital, Albert Einstein College of Medicine in NY. After returning to Israel he practiced plastic surgery as a senior attending surgeon in the Sheba Medical Center, Israel and as the director of the burn unit at the same hospital and practiced privately cosmetic surgery. In 2000, Dr. Glicksman co-founded UltraShape Inc. He led the R&D of the new technology and device for noninvasive body contouring by focused ultrasound. He also led the clinical work of the novel technology through designing the clinical protocols and that gained CE Mark in June 2005 and later FDA. In 2008 Dr. Glicksman founded ImpLite Ltd and is the company’s leader and CEO since then.
