Ami Giardina DNP, MHA, RN

Ami Giardina, DNP, MHA, RN, will be joining CU Medicine on April 1 as vice president for community practice. This new leadership position provides executive oversight of CU School of Medicine’s freestanding clinics. Ami brings substantial experience in clinical operations with large providers in Illinois and most recently she has been serving as chief accountable care officer for North Central Arizona Accountable Care in Prescott, Ariz. She holds a Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Rush University as well as a Master of Science in Health Care Administration. We are pleased to welcome her to CU Medicine and we thank Christina Finlayson, MD, who has been filling in this role in recent months along with her other duties for CU Medicine.
