Ameena Goga PhD, MBChB, DTMH, DCH, MScMCH, MSc, FCPaeds, MPhil

Ameena Goga is currently a researcher at the South African Medical Research Council, and a pediatrician within the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Pretoria. She has a Masters degree in Mother and Child Health, a Masters degree in Epidemiology, a Certificate in Integrative Medicine, a PhD in Pediatrics, a Certificate in Pediatric Pulmonology and an MPhil in Pediatric Pulmonology. Between 2001 and 2005 she worked at the National Department of Health in policy and programmes. Her research focuses on improving mother and child health in the context of HIV.
