Dr. Bledsoe is an Associate Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology at the University of Utah, specializing in perioperative medicine, perioperative echocardiography and quality improvement. She completed her residency in Anesthesiology at the University of Utah and then completed a one-year Perioperative Echocardiography Fellowship. She is board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology and the National Board of Echocardiography in Perioperative Transesophageal Echocardiography and Adult Comprehensive Echocardiography. She is the Vice Chair of Inpatient and Non-Operating Room Anesthesia (NORA) Services for the Department of Anesthesiology. This role involves care coordination between multiple procedural and operative services. She is also the Director of Quality Assurance for the Department of Anesthesiology and a member of the Quality Council whose directive is to support and implement quality improvement projects and enhance the quality of patient care. She serves as an Associate Medical Director of the Preoperative Clinic, practicing evidence-based care and focused echocardiography with the intent of reducing adverse perioperative events.
