Amani Osman

Dr Amani Osman is one of a new group of physicians who treats children and adolescents with diabetes, owing to the growing numbers of cases of type two diabetes in children. Indeed, at ICLDC she has made it her mission to promote school outreach programmes that aim to prevent obesity related diseases in children. A Sudanese graduate and UK trained, Dr Osman arrived in the UAE in 2010, establishing the Paediatric Diabetes Service at Al Ain Hospital, before taking up her role at ICLDC.
