Dr. Amanda Ruiz, MD, FAPA is a physician that providesculturally competent legal psychiatric consults to hospitals, patients,providers, fortune-500 organizations, judges, and attorneys. She is the pastDirector of Consult Liaison Services at Cedars-Sinai’s Emergency Department.She is board certified in both adult psychiatry and forensic psychiatry withthe American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. She is a Fellow of the AmericanPsychiatric Association and recently accepted a position as a member of theCouncil on Minority Mental Health and Health Disparities.
