Dr. Amanda Psyrri is a Chairman of Internal Medicine and Chief of Medical Oncology at Attikon University Hospital. She is also a Professor of Medical Oncology at the National Kapodistrian University of Athens. She earned her Medical Degree from Patras University School of Medicine, Rio, Patras, Greece in 1993, and her PhD from the University of Athens Medical School in 2007. Between 1996 and 1997 she did her Medical Internship at Saint Raphael Hospital (Yale affiliated Hospital), New Haven, CT, and at the same hospital from 1997 to 1999 her Medical Residency. From 1999 to 2002 she was a Clinical Fellow, Medical Oncology, at Yale University, Yale New Haven Hospital New Haven, CT.

From 2000 to 2002 Prof Psyrri was Research Fellow at Dr Daniel DiMaio’s Molecular Virology Laboratory, Yale University, New Haven, CT. She joined the Faculty of Medicine at the Section of Medical Oncology as an Instructor, at Yale University School of Medicine, New Haven, CT, 2002-2003 and was Assistant Professor, at the Section of Medical Oncology, at Yale Cancer Center, New Haven, CT from 2003 to 2009 and from 2009 up to present Assistant Professor of Medicine, at National Kapodistrian University of Athens Medical School, Attikon University Hospital, Athens, Greece.
