Amanda is an research associate in the Stem Cells and Gene Editing team, Amanda is responsible for creating the edited stem cell lines used by the Institute--from the first editing event all the way to the final genetically confirmed clonal line. Previously, she worked in the research and development group for a biotech company that focused on genome modulation products including siRNAs and CRISPR-Cas9 tools. She holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Cell and Molecular Biology from San Francisco State University.
