Amanda Hahn PhD

Dr. Hahn received her PhD in psychology & neuroscience from the University of St Andrews in 2013, where she worked with Dr Dave Perrett in the Perception Lab. She received her undergraduate degrees in biology and psychology from the University of California, Irvine. She completed a post-doctoral fellowship investigating the psychological effects of hormonal contraceptives in the Face Research Lab with Drs. Ben Jones and Lisa DeBruine at the University of Glasgow, Scotland. Dr. Hahn is currently an Associate Professor of Psychology at Cal Poly Humboldt, serves as the book editor for Human Ethology Bulletin, and is an affiliate member of the Face Research Lab at the University of Glasgow.
