Amal Al-shamlan PT, MSc, OMT

Amal is the first UAE national physiotherapist graduated from College of Allied Health Sciences / Kuwait University in 1989, where she worked as physiotherapist for 9 years in Dubai Health Authority. After completing her Master degree in Physiotherapy from Cairo University, she has been teaching physiotherapy at University of Sharjah.
In 2006 she joined Latifa Hospital as an charge of Rehabilitation Services where she had exposure in pediatric rehabilitation. She got appointed in 2013 as a Director of Dubai Physiotherapy & Rehabilitation Center/ DHA till end of 2015. She completed a certification in Orthopedic Manual Therapy from South African Physiotherapy Association. Amal uses manual therapy, exercise, taping, dry needling and postural correction in her treatment approach. In addition to her clinical practice, Amal is the president of Emirates Physiotherapy Society. She is licensed from Dubai Health Authority.
