Amadeo Salvador received his PhD in Kinesiology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign advised by Dr Nicholas Burd. His dissertation focused on stable isotope methods to measure human muscle protein turnover. Currently, he is a postdoctoral research associate at the University of Missouri under the mentorship of Dr. Elizabeth Parks. His current research uses stable isotope methods and mathematical modeling to study mechanisms of nonalcoholic fatty liver disease.
