Alzamani Mohammad Idrose MD

Dr. Alzamani Mohammad Idrose, MD is a Consultant Emergency Physician and Disaster Medicine Specialist from Hospital Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He has three master's Degrees, one of them being a European master's in Disaster Medicine. He coordinates Medical Disaster Response for humanitarian aid during a disaster in the Asian region for Malaysian National Security Council. He has contributed chapters for Emergency Medicine in leading medical textbooks in the USA, published papers in international journals, and wrote contingency and disaster plans for Hospital Kuala Lumpur as well as medical radiation incidence response plans for all hospitals in Malaysia under the Ministry of Health. He is involved as the adjudicator for more than 50 drills to date and provides input to national plans as regard medical management during disasters. He runs tabletop exercises and disaster response training in Malaysia. His areas of interest are Disaster Medicine, Critical Care Ultrasound, and Wilderness Medicine. He is also a poet and views his medical specialty as ‘Humanity Medicine’. To date, he has presented more than 100 scientific papers at conferences locally and internationally.
