Alwin Huitema PHARMD, PHD

Alwin Huitema, PharmD, did his Ph.D. (2001) on clinical pharmacology and population pharmacokinetics at the Netherlands Cancer Institute and Slotervaart Hospital in Amsterdam. He combined his Ph.D. with a training program to become clinical pharmacologist. After obtaining his Ph.D., he was trained as Hospital Pharmacist. Since 2003 his is a staff member of the Department of Pharmacy & Pharmacology of the Netherlands Cancer Institute and since 2016 he is a professor in clinical pharmacology at the University Medical Center in Utrecht. His research is focused on population PK/PD modeling and therapy individualization in oncology.
