Ally-khan Somani BSc, MD, PhD, FACMS, FAAD, FASDS, FEADV

Ally-Khan Somani , BSc, MD, PhD, FACMS, FAAD, FASDS, FEADV is a board certified dermatologist and physician-surgeon/scientist. He is an Assistant Professor of Dermatology and the Director of Dermatologic Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology in the Department of Dermatology at the Indiana University School of Medicine. His clinical practice is focused on treating skin cancers using Mohs micrographic surgery followed by reconstructive surgery. He also performs cosmetic procedures including laser surgery.
Dr. Somani is also a recipient of numerous research awards and grants, including a recent Dermatology Foundation Career Development Award in Dermatologic Surgery. His Research interests include cutaneous oncology, wound healing, aging, immunology and the molecular and signaling pathways involved in inflammatory, neoplastic and autoimmune skin diseases. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed scientific articles and book chapters.
