Allison Webber BA, MD

Dr. Allison Webber is a kidney specialist in the Connie Frank Transplant Center at UCSF Medical Center and director of the Post-Kidney Transplant Clinic, where patients require complex care and thorough monitoring due to the immunosuppressive drugs they take to prevent organ rejection and because of potential complications from infection. Webber cares for patients before and after kidney and kidney-pancreas transplants.
Webber earned a medical degree at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. She completed an internal medicine residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital – Weill Cornell Medical Center, where she also completed fellowships in nephrology or kidney disease, and transplant nephrology. After completing her training, she joined UCSF in 2009. In her research, she is interested in immune monitoring in kidney transplantation, including biomarkers to monitor the immune system. She is certified in internal medicine and nephrology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. She is an associate professor of nephrology at UCSF.
