Allison Walker RN, MS, CNP-BC

Allison Walker resides in Columbus, OH. She has been a Joint Commission Reviewer since September of 2014 and is trained in the Disease Specific Certification Programs. Allison most recently worked as an Orthopedic Nurse Practitioner in a large University Hospital managing the care of post-operative total joint, spine, trauma and general orthopedic patients. She was also responsible for orthopedic program development and staff education. Prior to this position, Allison worked in Dayton, OH as an Orthopedic Nurse Practitioner in a Disease Certified Total Joint Program. She cared for post-operative total joint patients, performed orthopedic consults, and also helped to maintain the certification of the Total Joint program. Preceding the completion of her Nurse Practitioner degree, she worked as a travel nurse at multiple hospitals with experience on orthopedic, medical surgical, critical care, and rehabilitation units.
Allison received her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Cedarville University in Cedarville, OH and her Master’s Degree for Family Nurse Practitioner from The Ohio State University in Columbus, OH. She is licensed as a Registered Nurse in Ohio and maintains board certification as a Certified Nurse Practitioner from the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She is also a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and the National Association of Orthopedic Nurses.
