Allan Pirie BDS, DGDP, RCS, MSC, IMP

Dr Allan Pirie qualified in dentistry in 1981 from Glasgow University and subsequently worked for a year in London at the Royal Dental Hospital and the Middlesex General Hospital Oral Surgery unit. Since then the main focus of Dr Pirie’s dentistry and postgraduate education has been in the replacement of missing teeth using dental implants. He was awarded DGDP RCS in 1995 and gained an MSc in Implant Dentistry in 2006. He has taught many dentists implant dentistry and has been a tutor at both the University of Warwick and the University of Glasgow Dental Hospital.

Dr Pirie has earned a reputation throughout Scotland for excellence in implant dentistry and numerous dentists, from the Orkneys and Shetlands to the borders, refer their patients for complex implant treatment.
