Allan Pillay PhD

Allan Pillay leads the Molecular Surveillance & Diagnostics Development Unit at the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention. He received his PhD in Medical Microbiology and Bacteriology from the University of KwaZulu-Natal. His clinical interests are Medical Microbiology, Bacteriology, Molecular Detection, PCR Assay, Whole-Genome Sequencing, and Molecular Diagnostics.
