Allan Korn

Dr. Korn is Chief Medical Officer, Medical Director, and Senior Vice President for Clinical Affairs for the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association (BCBSA), a national federation of 39 independent companies which cover more than 100 million people. He also oversees the Technology Evaluation Center (TEC), an independent, applied health service research organization that uses an evidence-based methodology for assessment of clinical technologies. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, and a member of the American Medical Association. He is a member of the Board of Directors of eHealth Initiative, of Bridges to Excellence, and of the Hospital Quality Alliance and Ambulatory Care Quality Alliance; and he sits on the Steering Committees of Prometheus and Connecting for Health.
