Allan H. Ropper MD

Allan H. Ropper, MD, is Professor of Neurology at Harvard Medical School and Raymond D. Adams Master Clinician and Executive Vice Chairman of the Department of Neurology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Dr. Ropper is an associate editor of the New England Journal of Medicine and a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and the American College of Physicians. He has over 150 publications and is an author of the most widely consulted textbook of neurology, Principles of Neurology, which is currently in its ninth edition. He is a longtime contributor to several major textbooks of medicine, including Harrison’s Principles of Internal Medicine.
