Allan Frederick Simpao MD, MBI

Dr. llan F. Simpao, MD, MBI, Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology and Critical Care, Perelman School of Medicine at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Simpao is a board-certified pediatric anesthesiologist and clinical informatician at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. He is the Co-Director of the Biomedical Informatics Program in the Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine. His research interests are in anesthesia informatics and perioperative analytics for outcomes research and quality improvement. He has lectured internationally on anesthesia informatics and analytics and physicians' use of social media for networking, education, and advocacy. His clinical expertise is in pediatric and maternal-fetal anesthesia.
