Associate Professor (Dr) Alkis Psaltis is Head of the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital. He is also an Associate Professor in the Department of Surgery, at the University of Adelaide. A. Prof Psaltis completed his advanced ENT training in Adelaide in 2010. He completed three subspecialty fellowships in advanced endoscopic sinus surgery and anterior skull base surgery in Auckland, NZ, Charleston, USA and Stanford University SA.
A. Prof Psaltis has strong research and academic interest. He completed his Ph.D. in 2008 and authored > 120 peer-reviewed articles and 15 book chapters. He serves on the editorial board of The American Journal of Rhinology, The Australian Journal of Otolaryngology, The Annals Otology, Rhinology & Laryngology, and Frontiers Clinical Microbiology.
He is considered an emerging leader in rhinology and sinus surgery and is a regular invited keynote speaker at many international and national ENT conferences and sinus courses.
