Alka Rani MBBS, FCPS, FRCPath 1

Dr. Alka Rani is a Senior Instructor in the Section of Histopathology within the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Aga Khan University, Pakistan, where she joined the faculty in May 2024. She holds an MBBS and completed advanced postgraduate qualifications, including FCPS in Histopathology from the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan and FRCPath 1 from the Royal College of Pathologists (UK). Dr. Rani also completed her residency training in histopathology at Aga Khan University Hospital.

Her clinical and research interests focus on neuropathology and skin pathology, and she is actively involved in professional organizations, including the International Academy of Pathologists (Pakistan Division) and the Histopathology and Cytology Society of Pakistan. She is a gold medalist in her FCPS Part 2 examinations and contributes to both teaching and scholarly publications in her field.
