Alison Tavare MB, ChB, MD, DRCOG, FRCGP

Alison is a part-time GP in Bristol and part-time GP Clinical Lead consultant at the West of England AHSN. Her special interest is in the use of NEWS in the early identification and management of sepsis. She was a member of the NICE Guidelines Development Group for Sepsis and is the co-author of a Health Education England teaching package “Think Sepsis”. She is involved in many other projects in the AHSN including the Learning from Deaths steering group and digital innovation.
