Alison Curnow was appointed as a Lecturer at the University of Exeter in 2003. She was promoted to Senior Lecturer in 2006 and is a longstanding member of the Medical School’s academic faculty. She is now Deputy Programme Director, BMBS Medicine as well as Programme Director for the MSc Environment and Human Health. She is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and a photobiologist known for her translational research of light activated cancer drug treatments (photodynamic therapy).
