Alireza Hosseini PharmD

Before joining Singapore Biotechnology, Alireza was working for 12 years at CinnaGen, the pioneer and most prominent biotech company of the MENA region. He was Executive Vice president of CinnaGen, his responsibility was to coordinate with CEO in the alignment of strategies with corporate objectives and affairs in Production, Quality, R&D, Planning, Procurement, and Financial departments.

Prior to that, he was Chief Quality Officer. Responsible for all aspects of Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Quality Compliance, Environment, Health, Safety and Sustainability he was also managing the Regulatory department with experience of over 10 Biosimilar products registration in more than 20 countries. Along with that role, Alireza was a Qualified Person for 10 years. Design, set up and implementation of the pharmaceutical quality system within his organization enabled him to have over 40 successful GMP audits by authorities across the globe and release of numerous batches of biosimilar products for different markets without any serious defect or recall.

Ali earned his Pharm.D. at Tabriz University of Medical Sciences, where he was also a Research Assistant at the Department of Biotechnology in the School of Pharmacy research center.
